Foot pain is often caused by incorrect foot wear, different alignment of the feet or an injury that you forgot about.  If rest, icing and supportive shoes like running shoes don't relief your foot pain, it's best to have it looked at.

If alignment of the feet, or to low or high arches causes the pain, supportive insoles or arch supports might help.  We refer to it as orthoses or sometimes orthotics.  See the page on custom made foot orthoses

Exercises might help, and will often be prescribed if you're not already doing it.
